CagriSema pairs cagrilintide, a long-acting amylin analogue, with semaglutide, the reference GLP-1 — two distinct satiety pathways in a single once-weekly injection. In the phase 3 REDEFINE-1 trial it produced a mean 22.7% weight loss at 68 weeks, beyond either component alone, and Novo has filed for FDA approval with a decision expected in late 2026. Each vial holds a fixed 1:1 ratio of the two peptides.
Lyophilized vials: keep sealed, dry, and away from light and heat. Refrigeration at 2–8°C is the best default; −20°C for long-term storage. After reconstitution: refrigerate at 2–8°C and use promptly — no beyond-use date is validated.
