VK2735 is Viking Therapeutics’ dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist — the same dual-incretin mechanism as tirzepatide, engineered as a new molecule. In the phase 2 VENTURE trial, 13 weekly injections produced up to 14.7% mean weight loss with no sign of plateauing — the most rapid onset reported in the class. It is now in the phase 3 VANQUISH program, with both injectable and oral formulations in development.
Lyophilized vials: keep sealed, dry, and away from light and heat. Refrigeration at 2–8°C is the best default; −20°C for long-term storage. After reconstitution: refrigerate at 2–8°C and use promptly — no beyond-use date is validated.
